Administration Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photos Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have made public a new tranche of what they described as "alarming" images from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—some of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 released later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is probing the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The shamed investor died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Images

Included in the high-profile individuals shown in the opening set are celebrities such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Reaction

The White House addressed the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the pictures for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false storyline."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative said, asserting that "the current government has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing reams of records, and demanding additional probes into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Remarks

The photos were disclosed lacking captions, but according to a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with the rich and powerful.

"The moment has come to halt this White House concealment and bring justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he declared in a comment.

The disclosure of these materials coincides with the oversight committee pressing on with its investigation into the Epstein case.
